Who we are
The website address is: terribedore.com.
What We Collect
I collect the minimum amount of my visitor’s data I need to figure out if my extroverting is working (and worth the anxiety). This website does use cookies to see how you got to my site.
I collect Device Type + Operating System (ex. phone/tablet/computer and android/apple/windows) to make sure my site can be viewed on the most popular devices.
I collect Country, State/Province to see what locations I can help best.
Both of the above are all anonymized (that is, I don’t know that you are in Wayne County Michigan and are using an old Windows 10).
I collect your IP address for security purposes (this is done by my security software, not my analytic software; never the twain shall meet, please 🙏FSM🍝.) So if someone was to try something Not Cool™️, I could block them.
I collect referral tag info (my word) to figure out how you got here. (those are those little bits added onto the end of a link. ‘fclid’ or ‘utm’ are most popular). A good example is I say on my Instagram AND LinkedIn Accounts: “Hey, I created this cool thing about parenting!” and linked to it […com/cool-parenting-thing) and added that referrer tag (&utm=insta or &utm=lkdin), I could figure out if it was more popular on Insta or LI by counting the number of times folk come from that specific link.
I don’t collect your name / email / etc bc I don’t allow comments, etc here.

Block Cookies:
- use a cookie blocker add-on in your browser
- or change browser settings to “block cookies”
- or “incognito/private window mode”
Remove Link Tracking:
- do NOT click on the link!
- instead, copy the link
- mobile/touchscreen: depends on device, usually holding finger down on the link for a long time, aka ‘hold-click’/ ‘long-press’ > copy link
- desktop: right-click > copy the link
- paste in a new window or tab (do NOT click paste + go!!)
- delete the stuff at the end of the link/URL beginning with “%utm” or “fclid”.
Where your data is sent
I use a third party service called “google analytics” to collect that data. Yes, it is processed in the United States. Can’t wait for the UN to sanction us into GDPR compliance, frankly.
I’ve turned off as many tracking bobbles as possible bc I while I might need to know if I need to increase wordpress posts on Insta and parenting guides on LinkedIn, I definitely don’t need to know you visited while shopping for fluffy bunny slippers.

Who we share your data with
Nope and nope-ty nope. Unless I get hit with a search warrant, no one is getting it.
Specifically, I do not sell or share your data. Period. Since I use Google Analytics, they see anonymized data. (That is, usage data that should not be attributed to a specific individual.)
How long we retain your data
As of July 1, 2023 my Google Analytics account is set to store 14 months of data.
What rights you have over your data
Any and all data is anonymized and *should* be compliant with GDPR (I sure hope so – I followed all the steps – that document is COMPLEX). If you think it isn’t, please reach out so I can figure out how to remove it for you:
